We collect very little, we say exactly what, and nothing here is used for advertising.

Who we are
This website is operated by Paradigm Commercial Real Estate & Brokerage Inc. (“Paradigm”, “we”), a commercial real estate brokerage licensed in Ontario. Our contact details are at the foot of this page. Our Privacy Officer is responsible for this policy and answers requests about personal information; write to the email address below with “Privacy” in the subject line.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry or request a tour. We ask for your name, email address, an optional phone number and your message, and we record which listing you enquired about. We use this to answer you and to put you in touch with the listing agent. The enquiry is sent by email to that agent, with a copy to our office. We do not store enquiries in a database or a CRM, and we do not add you to any mailing list because you enquired.
When you browse a listing page. We count page views, clicks on contact buttons, form opens and completed enquiries, so we know which listings draw interest. The counting is cookieless: nothing is written to your device, no profile is built, and visitors are told apart for one day at a time by a hashed value that our analytics provider derives from your network address and browser and deletes daily. We also receive the referring site, the device type and browser, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed. We do not use this for advertising or share it with advertisers.
When something breaks. If a page errors, technical details of the error (the page, the browser, the failing code) are sent to our error-monitoring service so we can fix it. We do not include your name, email or message in those reports.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records requests, including your network address, for a short period for security and operations.
Who receives information
We use a small number of service providers to run this site. Each receives only what its job needs, is bound by contract to use it for that job, and is based in the United States, so information may be stored and processed there and be subject to the laws of that country.
- Email delivery (Resend): sends your enquiry to the agent and keeps delivery logs for a short period.
- Analytics (PostHog): the cookieless page and click counts described above, kept for one year.
- Error monitoring (Sentry): technical error reports.
- Hosting and content delivery (Vercel, Cloudflare): serves the pages and the photos and keeps request logs.
- Maps (Mapbox): when a listing page shows a map, your browser loads the map tiles from Mapbox, which sees your network address as any website you visit does. The map software also keeps an anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage, rotated daily, and reports that a map was loaded; it is not a cookie and identifies no one to us.
- Embedded tours and video (for example Matterport, Giraffe360, iGuide, Kuula, Cupix and YouTube): when a listing embeds a virtual tour or video, your browser loads it from that provider under its own privacy terms. YouTube is loaded in its privacy-enhanced mode.
Your enquiry is also received by the listing agent, who is a registrant with Paradigm and handles it under this policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other brokerages except as you direct in the course of a transaction.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails stay in the agent’s and our office mailbox for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our business, after which they are deleted. Analytics events are kept for one year. Error reports and server logs are kept for the short periods our providers apply by default.
Your choices and rights
You can browse every listing page without giving us anything. Sending an enquiry is your choice, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Under Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent to its use, subject to legal or contractual limits. We answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We send commercial electronic messages only with your express consent, as Canada’s anti-spam legislation requires. An enquiry about a listing is not consent to receive marketing.
Changes to this policy
When we change what we collect or who receives it, we update this page and its effective date. This page describes the listing pages on this domain; the corporate website has its own notices.
